    Hi all,

Is there any MapBasic function to retrieve Width and Height of a Frame (e.g. a Map frame) with MapInfo Pro v17?

    Many thanks,

    Hi Miquel,
I assume you're asking about a map frame on a Layout page?  Look at LayoutItemInfo or LayoutPageItemInfo functions. Either can be used.  Attribute LAYOUT_ITEM_INFO_WIDTH will return its width in the layout paper units, and LAYOUT_ITEM_INFO_HEIGHT will return height.

If you don't know what the frame id is for your map frame, look at LayoutItemID.
