Restrict memory usage of MI Pro

We are considering deploying MI Pro in a hosted environment and there are concerns about it using up the server memory for each client. Is there a command line or config parameter that allows us to limit the memory usage for each instance of MI Pro that a client opens?

    Hi George

MapInfo Pro has not settings that let you limit the amount of memory used.
Maybe the hosted environment can control how much memory an application can use?

    Mr. Corea,
Each MI Pro will try and allocate the memory it needs to do operations that the end user has asked the software to perform.  The software will ask for memory and unless it fails, it will try to use that memory.  There are 3rd party products that I have no experience with that do attempt to provide rules that limit CPU and memory but I have no idea how well they actually work.
Is this concern of yours based on memory usage in Mi Pro that you have seen or just an overall concern about too many instances of Mi Pro on one physical machine?
