Labels - Legend Bar

  • 1.  Labels - Legend Bar

    Hi All,

I am using MapInfo Pro 64 Bit.

How do I make the Legend Designer so that it contains more than one field? For example so it shows individual sites within a table rather than labelling the overall table name?

    Thanks
    Richard

    Hello Richard,

As much as I understand your question, you are looking for  having different labels for a site data. You can create the Legend with all the Layers in the legend frame.  Double clicking the legend will open the Legend Frame Properties window. You can change the label text here.

To do it in bulk, you can try the MapBasic function for  Legend commands where you will have to alter the 'text' field in the Designer frame window.

    Hi Shweta,

Many thanks for your reply - sorry it has taken me a while to get back to you on this!

What I am wanting to do is have one label on the object on the map and then in the Legend I want two 'Labels' as in the map object label and the site reference. I have tried using the expression function to change the label but this does not help my situation.

What I would like is something like this:

Therefore how to get both the box labels showing in the Legend + the site names?

    Thanks

    Richard
