    Hi all,

    We get a lot of customers reporting the same defect which has already been identified via Connect. We then have to use an attribute instructing someone in the office to link the enquiry to the existing defect number as we cannot do it in the field.

    How do others get round this issue?

    Hi Laura,

    We are similar except we don't use an attribute, we just ask the inspector to provide the enquiry and job/defect number so that we can link them.

    Hi Joanne,

    Thanks for your response - it is a shame there isn't a better way.

    PB have said you can supersede a defect to link the new enquiry but as we have so many duplicate enquiries, there is only so much superseding you can do!
