Is anyone aware of a tool that allows you to edit each individual point in a polygon?
    Thanks

Not sure what you mean here Aline.
You can edit any point using MapInfo Pro.
Or do you mean the nodes that make up a polygon?
Again, edit using the re-shape tool in MapInfo.

    Hi Aline,

Adding to what John suggested, to use the Spatial Editing tool Reshape ( Spatial ribbon > Edit section > Nodes drop-down), you can also explore the various other tools coming with the auto loaded MapCAD addin. There are various tools for modifying spatial objects that would complement the Reshape tool.

You can also enable Snap using the S-key on your keyboard to snap an existing node or a new node to another node. This can be done in the same layer or a different layer that can be selected.

    Hi Shweta
Is there a way I can type in the exact location of each of those nodes (i.e. not physically dragging them)?

    Hi Aline,

Now that you have your nodes edited in the polygon, you can edit the bounds and center for the polygon/polyline or the location for the nodes. Make the layer editable and double click on the node to edit the location for it.

You can go to the Styles ribbon > Click on Show nodes to see all the nodes in the layer.

Let me know if this is what you are wanting to do.

    Hi Aline

In the the tool DrawTools 1.30 you can find a feature called Set Node Coordinate. It's located on the SPATIAL tab on the Nodes dropdown button in the Edit group.

Select the tool and click near the node you want to edit. You might have to turn on snap to make sure you get the right one or near enough.

The tool will now show the coordinates of the node nearest to the point where you clicked. You can use the dialog to move back and forth in the nodes of the polygon/polyline and in this way change multiple nodes.

The tool hasn't yet been published to the Community Download page nor has it been updated in the MapInfo Marketplace Preview.
You can however get it from the Github site: DrawTools 64 bit

@Peter Horsbøll Møller, thanks for the clarification. I had thought so too but wasn't sure about it. Just to let you know, we have the Draw Tools in the Marketplace for 17.0.3.
