    Hi

I am aware we can use "Active Directory" to authenticate users while logging into Confirm , howevr this is not same as Single Sign ON.
Is it feasible in Confirm ?

    Hi Ritu,

For Deploying Single-sign-on for Confirm Enterprise. When we want the login to confirm with our LDAP logins, yes we need to do the following things

    1. Create the users in the confirm with same LDAP user name and password.
    2. In 'security setting' screen, set Integrated security = FULL.
    3. Modify CFG using 'Database setting' screen. Open Advanced tab set Integrated security = FULL

Once we are done with these changes, we can login directly into Confirm with our LDAP user name.

'security setting' is a central setting and once done, it affects all users and all schema.

    Hi Saurabh,

Thank you for detailed explanation and steps. It is very helpful. So we can enable LDAP authentication however SSO refers to user provided access to multiple systems with single authentication. Enabling LDAP may not provide full functionality but yes it will to some degree.

Internal discussion and research has led us to conclude that "SSO enablement in Confirm is now feasible ".

Under Help (Confirm version 19)->Enabling Single sign ON.->The configuration is documented in the 'SAML Configuration' section of 'Installation, Configuring and Upgrading the Confirm Configuration Service'.

Additionally below applications can be accessed using SSO:

    1) Confim Host (only when virtualized through Citrix)

    2) Confirm web interface.

    3) ConfirmConnect.

Currently only SAML 2.0 is supported and the metadata is generated by the IDP (Identity Provider) which Client will be using.
